Primary hydatid cyst of the neck: a case report. Hydatid cysts in the neck are quite rare, even in areas where the disease is endemic. The role of radiological investigation is important and, in these cases, the involvement of other organs should be investigated. The cyst should be excised as a whole, without being ruptured, to prevent any treatment complications. This paper presents a case of an isolated hydatid cyst localised in the supraclavicular region without any pulmonary or hepatic involvement.
